(S)E(A)SCAPE // Oreille Indiscrète

Sound reverie around marine ecosystems, (S)e(a)scape proposes a fusion of Paetzold flute sounds, electronic machines, and original underwater recordings captured using hydrophones and sonar. Blending contemporary and electronic music, the creation immerses the audience in the underwater world, from the shoreline down to the depths. This immersion reveals a realm far from silence, filled with a diverse, intriguing, and sometimes unsettling sonic palette. Natural and anthropogenic sounds are integrated into the composition, shaped and reinterpreted by the musicians; while the Paetzold flute evokes the organic and animal world, the electronic machines represent the sound pollution generated by human activity.
