Sputter (PLUGS IN THE) Box is Sputter Box’s first concert with electronics and video projections featuring four world premieres by composers DM R, Nolan Hildebrand, X. Lee, and Tania Cortés Becerra. Using clarinet, bass clarinet, voice, percussion, electronics, and video art, each composer is writing about a topic they relate to, including Colombian popular music, noise music, the dangers of grind culture, and the mysterious death of migratory birds, known as cuvivíes, in the lagoons of Ozogoche, Ecuador. The electronics components will include recorded tracks and live electronics.

SOMNIA: Klaustro Sounds will be the stage for the premiere of Somnia, the multidisciplinary artistic proposal born from the collaboration between the accordionist Naiara De La Puente and the Ecuadorian composer and visual artist Tania Cortés. This project fuses accordion, electronics and visual arts to create a universe where the boundaries between the senses are blurred, offering the viewer a total immersion in a sonic and visual landscape. The project includes both world premiere works, such as the latest creation by Tania Cortés Becerra, as well as other selected pieces that evoke a world of archaic sound reminiscences. These works, both solo and with electronics and performed by Naiara De La Puente, have been complemented with the visual proposal of the two artists.
